major update.
okay so a lot of things have happened since my last post. let’s just begin with where we left off with my last post regarding universities.
Universities:
I have not yet been rejected to any universities!! :0) I would like to thank God, my family, U2, friends, and anything else I would say if I were to win an Academy Award. but I’m pretty sure I’m going to get one. Oh, and something really exciting, I got into film school. :0) it’s uber expensive ($50,000 USD) so I’m going to have to think about that one…
Mocks:
I had my mocks at the end of February and I just got my results back. I can’t believe there’s less than two months until I’m done with IB.
Cambodia:
I went to Cambodia for a week in early March (specifically Siem Raep and Phnom Penh) um I was with a group of girls from my school helping out some ex sex traffickers and teach them some new skills like MUSIC(!). some of the girls are truly talented and it’s a bit saddenning to see how they were treated early on in their life.
oh and people thought I was Cambodian. (what a surprise!)
Cultural evening:
I’m preparing the North American Cultural evening for a school performance. It’s really crazy, and I’ve improved a lot on dancing. I feel like I can actually kinda dance now.
30 Hour Famine:
I’m organizing a 30 Hour Famine at a local school in Hong Kong on Saturday. It’s a lot of work and I think I’m getting a bit sick, but everyone else on the team is healthy and working in full productivity mode.
that’s about it and what’s happened to me in the past month. I hope that was entertaining. OH YEAH AND I GOT THE SUPER MEGA DELUXE EDITION OF THE U2 CD. it’s a birthday gift. :0) because i’m getting OLD.
